Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued recruitment notification for Combined Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination, 2016.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 Years as on 1st January 2016. Age Relaxation - 05 Years for SC / ST; 03 Years for OBC; 10 Years (+ Category Relaxation) for PWD.

Educational Qualifications:
For Post Codes A to E :
(A1) Master's degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; (OR)
(A2) Master's degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; (OR)
(A3) Master's degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; (OR)
(A4) Master's degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; (OR)
(A5) Master's Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level. (AND)
(B) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years' experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

For Post Code 'F' :
(A1) Master's degree of a recognized University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level (OR)
(A2) Bachelor's degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the term compulsory and elective)

For Post Code 'G' :
(A) Bachelor's degree in Hindi with English as one of the subject at degree level either as compulsory or optional from a recognized University or Institute plus Master's degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/ Institute.
(B) Bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute plus Master's degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional from a recognized University or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/ Institute.
(C) Desirable - Two years experience of teaching Hindi at Senior Secondary level under Central or State Governments or recognized educational Institution.

Application Fee: Rs 100/-. The fee pay through Online Mode (using Net banking and any credit and debit cards) OR SBI Bank Challan (Prescribed). No fee for SC, ST, PWD, Ex-servicemen and all Women candidates.

Selection Process: Written Examination Only (Carrying 400 Marks). All Indian Open Competitive Exam will be held on 19/06/2016 (Sunday) and will consist of two papers (Paper-I - Objective Type, Paper- II - Conventional Type).
