SSC CHSL 10+2 Recruitment 2019

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL 10+2) Examination 2019. There are various vacancy in SSC CHSL 10+2 exam for recruitment of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators (DEO) and Lower Divisional Clerks (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) in Different Ministries / Departments / Offices of the Government of India. The SSC CHSL 10+2 Exam 2019 Online registration will be open from 5th March 2019 and close on 5th April 2019.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01.08.2019 (Candidates born not before 02-08-1992 and not later than 01-08-2001). The Upper Age Limit relaxation - 05 Years for SC / ST. 03 Years for OBC, Plus 10 Years for PWD, for others as per Govt. Rules.

Minimum Educational Qualification (as on 01/08/2019):
For LDC / JSA, PA / SA, DEO : Candidates must have passed Matric with 12th class standard or equivalent experience.

For DEO in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Matric with 12th class pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.

Selection Process: The examination will consist of a Computer based Written Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III) Examination for the post of Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Lower Division Clerk.

Tier-II (Descriptive Paper): Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in ‘Pen and Paper Mode'. The duration of the paper would be for one hour (20 minutes compensatory time will also be provided to the  candidates). This  paper  has  been introduced  to  assess  the  writing  skills  of  the  candidates  which  is  necessary  in  Government jobs.  The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter/ Application of approximately 150-200 words.  The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent. The performance in Tier II would be included for preparing merit.  The paper will  have to be written either in Hindi or in English.  Part  paper  written  in  Hindi  and  Part  in English will not be evaluated.

Tier-III Examination: Tier-III of the Examination would be the Skill Test/ Typing Test which would be of qualifying nature.  Skill Test/ Typing Test would be in consonance with the provisions. The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier-I and Tier-II.

Skill Test for Data Entry Operator: (1) Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer. (2) For post of Data Entry Operator  in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG):- A speed Test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for data entry work to be ascertained through speed test on Computer.

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to OBC and UR (General) Candidates are required to pay Application fee of ₹ 100/-. The Fee paid in respect of online application through SBI Challan/ Net banking and any credit and debit cards will be accepted. The Payment of application fee is exempted for all women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government orders..

How to Apply: Eligible Indian Nationals must be submitted only in Online Application Mode. The Online Registration through SSC Online Portal, the closing date for online registration is 05/04/2019 up to 5:00 PM.
