Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) New Delhi will hold an All India Examination for Direct Recruitment to the post of Sub Inspector (Works) and Junior Engineer / Sub Inspector (Electrical) Group 'B', Non Ministerial, Engineering (Combatised) in BSF For the year 2017.
Eligible Candidates apply within 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment Newspaper dated 15 - 21 April 2017 Issue.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 Years as on last date of receipt of application. The Upper Age Limit relaxation - 05 Years for SC / ST, 03 Years for OBC and for all others as per Govt. Rules.
Pay Scale: Pre-revised Pay Band-2 Rs 9300-34800 + GP Rs 4200 (Pay Matrix level- 6 of 7th CPC)
Educational Qualifications:
JE/SI (Electrical) : 03 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognised by the Central Government or State Government.
SI (Works) : 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
Exam Fee: Each application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft (DD) / Postal Order for Rs 200/- as examination fee in favour of the addressee to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/ Post Office at the location or nearby station. However, fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, BSF Candidates & Ex-serviceman. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Selection Process: Written Examination will be followed by Documentation, Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Practical Test & Medical Examination.
How to apply : Application duly filled up in the prescribed format may be sent within 30 days from the date of publication of the Notice in Employment News Paper 15 - 21 April 2017 Issue (i.e. Last date will be 15/05/2017). The last date of receipt of application in respect of candidates belonging to areas of North Eastern State, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, l.ahaul & Spiti Districts and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands or the Union territory of Lakshadweep is within 45 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News.
