Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued exam notification for Recruitment of Junior Engineers (JE) 2016. The SSC will hold an open competitive examination for recruitment of Junior Engineers, Group 'B' Non-Gazetted posts in various Government Organization Vacancies. The last date of online registration is 31/10/2016.
Exam Dates: 3rd December 2016 to 5th December 2016.
Educational Qualifications (as on 01/08/2016): Degree / Diploma in Concerned Engineering Discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) from a recognized University or Institute.
Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted and recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their total marks in Examination (Paper - I & II) and preference for the posts.
Scheme of Examination:
(1) Paper-I (Objective type) - Computer Based Mode (200 Marks, Duration - 02 Hours)
(2) Paper-II (Conventional Type) - Written Examination (300 Marks, Duration - 02 Hours)
Application Fee: Rs 100/-. The Fee paid in respect of online applications through SBI Challan / Net banking and any credit and debit cards will be accepted. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribes, Physically handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
