Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) (Refineries Division) issued recruitment notification for Engagement of Apprentices under Apprenticeship Act 1961/ Apprentices Amendment Act, 1973 at its Grass root Refinery at Paradip, Odisha. As a Special Drive for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates for engagement as Apprentices in Chemical Discipline for filling up 15 Vacancies. The last date for submission of applications is 30th July 2016.
Age Limit: 18 to 29 Years as on 30/06/2016.
Educational Qualifications:
Trade Apprentice / Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) : 3 years Full-Time B.Sc. (Physics, Maths, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry).
Technician Apprentice : 3 years Full-Time Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Refinery & Petrochemicals Engineering.
Selection Methodology: The Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on Written Test and Personal Interview. The written test will be of two hours duration & would carry a weightage of 85%. The maximum weightage for interview will be 15%. The candidates will have to qualify successfully through each stage of the selection process i.e. Written Test and Personal Interview (Minimum 30% marks) and pre-employment medical fitness for being adjudged suitable for engagement.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to Apply Online. The Online registration close on 30/07/2016.
