State Bank of India (SBI) Recruitment 2016- 2000+ Posts: Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers(POs) in State Bank of India to fill up 2200 Posts across India. Graduate Indian Citizens are required to fill Online Registration form from 4th may 2016.
Age Relaxation: 05 Years for SC / ST; 03 Years for OBC (NCL); Plus 10 Years for PWD Category with Reserved Category.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification. Candidates who are in the Final year / Semester of their Graduation may also apply.
Salary : Presently, the starting basic pay is `27,620/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of `23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. The total compensation per annum would be a minimum of `7.55 lacs and maximum of `12.93 lacs depending on place of posting and other factors
Selection Process: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview.
Phase-I - Preliminary Examination: The Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections
English Language (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30), Reasoning Ability (35)
Phase-II - Main Examination: The Exam will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
(i) Objective Test - The Objective Test of 2 hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:-
a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing &Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)
(ii) Descriptive Test - The Descriptive Test of 1 hour duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
Phase-III - Final Selection: The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for the selection and only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) will be added to the marks obtained in Interview for final merit list.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- (Intimation Charge Only) for SC / ST / PWD Category Candidates; Rs.600/- (Application Fee and Intimation Charge) for General and OBC Category Candidates. The fee pay through Online Mode Only - at the time of filling Online Registration Form.
