IGCAR Recruitment 2016 – 219 Technician & Stipendiary Trainee Posts: Government of India, Department of Atomic Energy, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) has published a notification for the recruitment of 219 Technician C and Stipendiary Trainee Category II vacancies. Age Limit: Candidates age should be upto 27 years for Technician C and between 18 to 22 years for Stipendiary Trainee Category II as on 18-03-2016. Age relaxation is applicable upto 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per rules.

Emoluments and Stipend:
Technician C: Rs 5200 - Rs 20200 + Grade Pay Rs 2400
Stipendiary Trainees Category II: Stipend payable during training Rs 6200/= per month for 1st year and Rs 7200/- per month for 2nd year.

Educational Qualifications:
Technician 'C'

1. Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in SSC (Science & Maths).
2. ITI Certificate of not less than 1 year duration in respective trade (Draughtsman [Civil] / Mason / Welder / Painter / Draughtsman [Mechanical] / Computer Operator and Programming Assistant / Glass Blower / Boiler Attendant)
3. 4 years of experience in the relevant trade after completion of the ITI course is mandatory

Stipendiary Trainee Category - II (C/II-01, C/II-02, C/II-03, C/II-04, C/II-05, C/II-06, C/II-07, C/II-08 & C/II-09)

1. Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in SSC (Science & Maths).
2. ITI Certificate of not less than 2 year duration in respective trade (Electrician / Refrigeration & AC Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter / Millwright Fitter / Machinist / Turner / Mechanical Machine Tool Maintenance) (OR) ITI in the relevant trade of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.

Stipendiary Trainee Category - II (C/II-10)
Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Matric with +2) (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as subjects.

Stipendiary Trainee Category - II (C/II-11)
Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Matric with +2) (Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects).

Stipendiary Trainee Category - II (C/II-12)

1. Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) or Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in SSC (Science & Maths).
2. ITI Certificate of not less than 2 year duration in Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) (OR) ITI in the relevant trade of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination, trade test and interview.
